Combined Engine Brake
Dual effect Engine Brake
The CEB - Combined Engine Brake (mounted on the 380 and 420HP Cursor 13) is a powered engine brake which combines two effects: decompression and braking torque. By way of a butterfly valve on the exhaust manifold, a back-pressure of the exhaust gas is created which is used to slow down engine revolutions and increase braking power.
